The story began in December 2021 during Meghan's cousins wedding festivities. Phillip was a groomsman, and Meghan was a bridesmaid. Meghan's cousin had a hunch that they might hit it off, and made sure they walked in to the reception together.

During the chaos of wedding coordinating, the planner asked Meghan to get Phillips last name so that the DJ could announce them properly. Meghan confidently approached shy Phillip and asked, What's your last name? Phillip replied, Hatton, why? Without skipping a beat, Meghan, with her bold personality, joked, I just needed to know what my future last name is going to be.

From that playful first conversation, something special began. Fast forward to today, and they couldn't be more excited to share that last name.
